Tonight I made some pan fried steak with butter, extra virgin olive oil and cumin. I love the earthy fragrance of the cumin! The cut of meat the butcher gave me wasn’t very good, and next time I will definitely get a New York style or other less fatty cut.
I served the panfried steak with baked potato and a tossed mixed green salad. The meal was fairly unremarkable, save and except the wine, which is a different post altogether.
I went out late Saturday wine-tasting with some friends and haven’t blogged in a few days, but definitely missed it, so hopefully I’ll get the urge to do it again soon.
